Peace Be With You

Today is the first day of Spring, which is also known as the Vernal Equinox and since 1970 Earth Day.  We felt that today, it was imperative to seek out community collaborators to start an "I Love the Creeks" campaign to educate the community‐at‐large and to create a team to help clean and restore the balance that once existed in our creeks.  Today is the best day because there is almost a complete balance between the length of time for daylight and darkness.

In order for US humans to reconcile the problems we have created, we must learn and follow the natural systems that have always been here as we shift our focus from self and back to Mother Earth.  We cannot keep using our man‐made devices to solve our problems as the same thinking that produced our technology has created our problems.  Albert Einstein, once said, "We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them."

Therefore, we have to create a new way of doing things that helps to restore the natural balance that has been lost, especially when it comes to our water, one of our most important natural resources.  The water problems in Fayette County have gotten worse over the years and it’s past time that an on‐going initiative was put into place to clean, (more...)
