How has EConsulting™ given back? cont’d
Latitude Artist Community (LAC), a non–profit that works with adults that are thought to have a disability. Through our work on Obiora’s plot, we were asked to maintain their garden at the Southland Community Garden (SCG). We created a simple but artistic design, planted seeds we sold and donated, and are their personal gardener.
We also donated seeds for SCG’s community plots. That harvest and the excess from LAC’s plot will be donated to non–profits that feed people.
Flooding after heavy rainfall is common here because of the city's topography and city planning. It is also the reason that we helped to construct a rain garden in the Summer of 2009 at Lucia’s World Friendly Boutique, a local business that sells Fair Trade goods.
